I’ve been eyeing up jumpsuits lately. I’ve bought a bright red vintage one via eBay, but I’m hooked and need more.
Luckily for me the are a big trend this year so there are loads in the shops.
I’ve loved a good jumpsuit since being at primary school when I begged my mum to buy me one, sometime in the late 1980’s. My favourite jumpsuit icon has go to be Sigourney Weaver and whilst I wont be blasting any Aliens into space I do admire the practicality that an all in one brings. (except for loo trips obviously).
First up is this one from Topshop… So Ripey dont you think? This one is £55
Next up is cheating a bit because I’d call these dungarees and be done with it. But these are listed as Jumpsuit Dungarees and they are from Urban Outfitters- tres chic? This is £68.I love this 1940s style jumpsuit from Freddies of Pinewood this is £90 and is proper denim. The sturdy stuff that all jeans used to be made from *grumble grumble*.If you prefer your jumpsuits more modern then this one from Next is a corker, I love the simple shape that can so easily be dressed up or down. Which is one of the reasons I love jumpsuits anyway.
Last but not least is this one from Mango, not on my usual “go to” list of shops but I’d make an exception for this jumpsuit which is £39.99.Now I’m off to go and try some of these on… Have you bought in to the jumpsuit trend? Any recommendations (especially for tall girls)?
