Here at Vintage Manchester, we love a vintage fair. But not all are created equal it would seem. I’m sure you have your favourite vintage fair which you attend as often as finances allow?
One of the best vintage fairs, in and around Manchester, in our opinion is Vintage Village, which is based in Stockport’s beautiful Victorian covered Market hall. The fair is held on the second Sunday of every month, but this month they are doing an extra event- on Sunday 25th September. A Pop up fair at a suitably vintage location.
Salford Museum and Art Gallery is a mix of Victorian and Twentieth Century archietecture and includes a Victorian Gallery and Lark Hill Place- which is said to be the best recreated Victorian Street of its kind.
The lovely Matt & Annabel form Vintage 78 DJs will also be there to give the venue their unique soundtrack!
The fair is 100% vintage at this event- that translates as, no craft stalls and no food or drink sold inside, although there is a cafe within the museum and the extra special Gingers Comfort Emporium ice cream van parked outside.
This event is free entry and starts at 10.30.
Go to the Vintage Village website for more details. You can also see our Calendar page for forthcoming events- please get in touch if you’d like to contribute.
We’ll see you there!
