Vintage Village at Stockport Market

Came across this totally my accident on Twitter, which I’ve just recently signed up to and still getting to grips with. So despite feeling horrific with some sort of lurgy I had to get the munchkin and myself out of the house for an hour or two on this very wet Sunday. The Vintage Village is in the Victorian Glass Market Hall in Stockport opposite St Mary’s Church and behind Asda and TKMaxx.

Officially it starts at 10am but being the eager beaver I am, we were there for half nine. So there were some people still setting up and me wheeling the munchkin around in her buggy – probably not a good combination! They are a really friendly lot there though and I could have bought so many things. It’s mainly vintage clothes, tea sets, jewellery and accessories with a couple of craft stalls thrown in for good measure. In the end I came away with some vintage fabric for £1- yes one pound!!  I’ll be using this to make my first attempt at a housecoat, as discussed in a previous post here.

If you went to this fair please share what goodies you came away with! Bye for now!
