I’m starting a new series on vintage girl essentials. This series will consist a variety of articles, from reviews, to shopping suggestions, to outfit posts and I’ve negotiated some discounts for my readers too so look out for those. I’m incredibly excited about this series and I hope you are too!
First up in the Vintage Girl Essentials series is the DollyDagger website. I really like the way you can search for products on this site, in the sidebar on the left you can search by your favourite colour or your favourite pattern- including gingham, polka dots, stripes and more. You also have the regular categories such as dresses, swimwear and homeware.
I like it so much that I’ve signed up to be an affiliate of theirs and I thought I’d share some of the bits that have jumped out at me straight away! Its worth mentioning that some of the dresses on the Dollydagger site are from the Dollydagger label, designed and made in the UK and are lovely. But more on those another time….
First up I found these Chrysanthemum Earrings for £12 they could easily be mistaken for a pair of 1950’s Bakelite earrings.
The ones above come in a variety of colours and would be great for daytime wear but if you need something more glamorous for an evening out or special event then these Vintage 1950’s Weiss Crystal Rhinestone Clip-on’s are to die for!
If you want something that is perhaps slightly more modern but with a bit of retro styling, perhaps something to wear for work, then I think you cannot go far wrong with this fun Dollydagger Teapot Retro Enamel brooch it comes in a variety of colours as you can see from the Gif below!
Dollydagger are also running an excellent giveaway via Facebook at the moment- closing date March 20th 2013. You can win a pair of Vivienne Westwood shoes!
Have you visited the Dollydagger site? Or even visit the shop in Brighton? What did you buy? Do share!
