Valspar Paint Club

As you know we’ve used Valspar paint for several projects.

In the bedroom we used a dusty pink called Fairys Tutu. I searched high and low for a non insipid, non saccharine shade of pink. I guess the name of this one makes it sounds super girly- but in the space it feels very grown up.

See more photos here.

In the Dining room we used Boardwalk Sashay… Which is more of a pinky lilac grey, but really changes a lot depending on the light. It actually looks similar to our bedroom in this shot, but it feels like an old stately home wall colour- a bit antique, a bit National Trust.

See here and here for more shot of the Dining room and the way this paint changes with the light.

We’ve also used Valspar on our front door which was such ann epic job. This one was called Cloak of Midnight. I dont know who comes up with the names of these paints- but what a great job!!

So its fair to say I’m a big fan of Valspar paints (and their names!)

I’m teaming up with Valspar again to tell you about their new Paint Club.

If you love decorating, renovating and getting creative with paint then this is made for you. Basically you join the Valspar Paint Club then share your project plan. You then have the chance of winning everything you need to complete your painting project, so paints, rollers, brushes etc.

Every three months Valspar will provide 15 avid painters with paint and accessories for their project. In return all you’d need to do is share the results of your makeover on social media using #ValsparPaintClub with a little review and before/after shots where possible.

Valspar is available from B&Q where they can also colour match anything you bring into store. The staff at our local branch know us now because we are in there so much when choosing paint samples (I think this is a good thing- ha!)

This is a brand new scheme that Valspar are running so the first ones to sign up will have a greater chance of success, purely on a numbers basis!

I’m definitely signing up to this with a full renovation on my hands. Funnily enough, we’d also planned on pink in the bedroom (I can’t get enough of pink) and think I’ve settled on Valspar’s Pantone collection in Petal Pink, but just on the back wall that will be behind the bed – the room is over 25m2 and that would be an expensive job with so many other rooms to do. Gone for a nice, true, but still calming, white for the other walls. I love your interiors posts!

Oh what a great idea on the part of Valspar! I used their paint for my dressing room but haven’t had another opportunity since then to use it. I love the colour of your front door 🙂 xx

The paint club sounds ace! I’m looking for a light grey pink which isn’t too girly, so might try one of theirs! x

What an amazing idea, thanks for sharing! We just did a feature wall in the dining room using a Valspar paint and it looks amazing. My next paint project is the fencing & gate in the back garden, so I’ve submitted for that 🙂
