Vintage Seaside fun in Whitby

Hello! Long time no speak/read or whatever the correct term is! I’ve been on holiday to Whitby, in the North Yorkshire Coast- I’m a great believer in the staycation, as much as I’d like to visit Italy every year it just isnt practical or economically viable. Anyway my spiritual home is Whitby- I absolutely love it and want to grow old there. See here for more Whitby fun!
Kids and ice-cream eh- who knew!? My little ice-cream vampire!
Dotty About Vintage a relatively new shop in Whitby on Church Street next door to Cosa Nostra Italian Restaurant. Ran by a lovely lady called Trudie, in the end I only got chance to drop in once which is sacrilege really. But it does give me an excuse to go back soon!
Fossil hunting in Robin Hoods Bay

I don’t want to bore you with all my holiday snaps and as you can see I’m behind the camera in these, not really any outfit posts to speak of. This was just about relaxing and switching off, and we did just that. Where is your favourite place for a staycation?

Oh, I feel the same way about Whitby and go every October half term with all four generations of my family – would love to live there, it’s always so inspiring, and visiting feels like coming home.

Excited to see that there’s now a vintage shop. Could well be an excuse for another visit! Ironic that it should be next to the Italian restaurant, too!
