Some ace news! The lovely Rose and Grey have opened a shop in Altrincham, and it is beautiful.
You may have seen, here on the blog, I’ve worked with Rose and Grey a few times in the past. Their website is highly covetable and the fact that they are local only endeared them to me even more.
Their products are made for “modern and vintage living” so they suit me down to a tee. I literally loved everything in the shop on my visit today.
I took so many photo’s today (sharing a handful here) it feels incredible to have this place less than 20 minutes drive away.
I think it also shows that despite the naysayers saying the high-street is dead, in fact, when it comes to purchases for the home (especially big ones like chairs) people still want to touch the products, sit on the products and generally get a feel if that piece of furniture is going to suit their home and their needs.
In my recent Corner Sofa Coveting post, despite me loving the sofas I talked about- I’d so need to sit on them before making the buying decision.
Wouldn’t you agree? I’m actually interested to know if any of you have bought a sofa online then not liked it after delivery…
Quirky homewares- check!
Vintage styling- check!
Cool plants and planters- check!
The layout of the showroom is set up like different rooms and slightly different themes. Managing to showcase a wide range of products.
They have managed to get everything spot on. Can I move in?
I could spend a fortune here, and spend all day talking about it.
I love it and I’m sure you will too.
A huge congratulations to Rose and Grey on their opening, I’m already planning my return visit!
