10- Floral Graffiti Pyjama Set £28 Asos

11- Robins Brushed Flannel Set £50 Cath Kidston

12- Finley Patchwork Slippers £38 Anthropologie

During another, longer stay in hospital with smallest it struck me that I am not proud of my PJs. I dont really have any for starters so I tend to mix and match with oversized Rock t-shirts and classic striped, mens drawstring cotton full length pyjama bottoms.

This time of year is the perfect pyjama situation (less so a stay on the childrens ward- but hey, any excuse) the dark and cold nights, where you just want to snuggle up without restrictions of belts and non cosy fabrics. Blankets, open fire hot chocolate- you know the drill.

So with all these thoughts in mind, and also probably because I just want to stay at home and nest at the moment, I’ve trawled the interwebs to pick out the best pyjamas. Perfect for a gift for Christmas or just because. I know that I’d certainly be happy with any of these.

There’s something for every budget here, and a couple of Christmas pyjamas too- I would just want to wear these for the whole of Christmas!

And yes number 12 isn’t a pyjama set- but er HAVE YOU SEEN THESE SLIPPERS!! Anthropologie just get it right every time don’t they, I just had to include them in this round up.

I love just how acceptable and cool it is now to wear pyjamas! I’ve been on the hunt for a new pair and I love so many of these, especially the pairs from Monki and ASOS!

    So cute!

Oh my goodness those slippers are amazing! Love #1 and #6 the best. In fact, I just bought a set from Asos with chinese dragons all over it because I realised just how ugly all my PJs actually were. When they are pretty, you don’t mind too much opening the door to the courier first thing in the morning! Ha! Hope your little one is feeling much better too – that must have been so awful for everyone. Sending hugs xx

I’d be happy with any of those too. I’ve just recently bought a pair of pj’s and I love curling up on the sofa in them. x

I’ve started buying proper PJ’s considering I spend sooo many hours in them. I’m obsessed with flannel jim jams. Some great sets here. I obviously fell for the most expensive **sigh** x

    1 and 6 – NEED NEED NEED!
I think you can never have enough pyjamas, especially if you’re a Christmas nut like me and start hibernating for Winter from August onwards haha xx

Get them on your Christmas list Karen!

It must be a thing to buy PJs as this winter I have bought 3 pairs all in different styles. I think that is because it’s so nice hanging out at home at the moment. I love the Matalan one’s best – and they are such a good price (add to my shopping list…..)

Agreed Maxine! I think we all need to feel a little cosier at the moment

Very apt post, as I’ve been looking at pyjamas today. Some of your luxury choices are gorgeous, although I don’t think I can quite run to the three figure price tags!

  10. November 22, 2016 / 2:40 pm

Such good choices, I will be pursuing some of these for my Xmas list. PJ’s are the way forward for this time of year. Love a good pair for long mornings of lounging.

I had the same thought myself the other day. We’re off on holiday this evening and I realised I don’t actually own any pyjamas. I like the grey set from Jigsaw the best. Nice selection though.

I used to be such a PJs person, now it’s scruffy T’s and loose trousers. Really need to up my game again (love the grey ones).
