Another of our picks from the Manchester Histories festival is on Saturday 3rd March when Dr Craig Horner from Manchester Metropolitan University will be giving an illustrated talk about all the aspects of motoring in and around Edwardian Manchester.
Using magazines and newspapers, the talk will look at who was buying the new cars and motorcycles, surprisingly not always the rich, how they bought them, and what they did with them. Very intriguing!
Thanks to oldclassiccar.co.uk for this picture in which there seems to be a Charlie Chaplin lookalike!
