I don’t know about you but going to the local supermarket isn’t just about going for the weekly shop.
The fact that many of them do a clothes range means you can picks something up with your groceries- I often do.
I was recently asked to choose a “Hero piece” from George at Asda and style it up three ways. Here are the results!
I really enjoyed this challenge, in these photographs I’m wearing all Asda… Apart from where I’ve added a vintage belt, hair flower or sunglasses.
My hero piece is the Spot Print Maxi Skirt. I chose this because I wanted something I could mix and match with other things, I’ve so many tops and dresses and a maxi skirt is something that is easy to wear, comfortable and feminine. And its spotty- I love spots! In this image I’m wearing the maxi skirt, with almost matching spotty plimsolls, a grey marl top which has gems around the neckline (which I’ve worn loads since getting it) and a red- almost orange bolero cardi. Oh and a cross body bag – so handy as a mum #handsfree !
I do look rather tired in this next one- but hey ho that’s life. The skirt obviously again- this time with a blue bolero cardi and embroidered smocked cotton top ( a tad see through so nude t shirt bra needed) and cute red plimsolls.
This smocked top looks good with jeans too and I think it’ll look lovely with some denim cut off shorts come holiday time.
Next up I’m in all the spots! The top and skirt together with the belt make it look like a maxi dress and the scarf around my head (also Asda) really finishing this look off. My ode to Frida Kahlo I think… Also in the plimsolls again- this time a denim shade of blue. I’m totally set up for some warm weather now- come back sunshine!
