Manchester Blogcamp

It’s taken me a while to write this, Blogcamp was on 17th July and here I am a whole week later (an age in the land of blogs). Most people who wrote a post about being there did so very quickly afterwards, believe me that was also my intention.

It just didn’t work out that way. For two reasons, one because I’m busy organising my charity event, and the other is
the more I digested the information the more I questioned myself and my blog.

Basically began going through a crisis of self confidence blogger style! Who knew that could happen??
This is almost like a map of my brain!

Well I suppose those that have been doing this longer than me may know it, “What’s the point in me blogging when there are so many other good blogs out there?”, I met lots of amazing bloggers at Blogcamp. “My blog looks so amateurish compared with these fantastic other blogger’s blogs!” and the blogger classic, “What is my true voice?”

What Blogcamp did for me was give me a kick up the bum and made me take a step back and ponder a while. All this is good by the way! It made me think about how much of myself and my life do I want to blog about, and how much stuff I actually don’t blog about and why??

If you want to read a really great post about what actually happened at Blogcamp then go here to A Thrifty Mrs’s website!

I was there too! Sorry didn’t get to chat with you. I have been feeling kind of the same since it – esp about my design… Although a friend’s boyfriend is willing to make a new design for me so hopefully be getting that done soon… 🙂
