I don’t know about you but I’m a bit of a sucker for a nice chair, throw in a dash of heritage to the design of said chair, and I’m sold.
There are so many great makers out there at the moment that sometimes I find choosing new products a bit overwhelming. I recently discovered Lilly Loray. I found a company that is making furniture with such a strong sense of heritage, without the hassle of watching and bidding for something on eBay (because sometimes you just cant wait- am I right?).
Lilly Loray kindly sent me this Walnut Twig chair for review. Its got a hint of 60s Ercol design about it and it’s really comfortable to sit on.
The thing I love about wood is the warmth it brings to any room. Our kitchen is basically wood and white, and the wood really adds some character that I think makes it feel like a home rather than a showroom.
I think this chair would go with any style of interior as its such a classic piece. I’m impressed by the aesthetics and the ethics of Lilly Loray (all the wood they use is responsibly sourced pine) and I think you’ll love it too.
I actually really want three more of these to go around my kitchen table, it’s that good!
As a little thanks to my readers Lilly Loray have offered one of their vintage storage crates as a giveaway prize.
These crates are a classic design and are so handy to have in any room of the home. We have a really similar one in the kitchen for the girl colouring books and craft stuff, easy tidying up when dinner is ready.
