Life’s A Picnic- Giveaway!

Well the recent weather we have been experiencing has been nothing short of glorious! For me it brings to mind BBQ’s, sandcastles and picnics.

I recently discovered a delightful new company called “Life’s A Picnic” and agreed with them that my lovely readers would enjoy a giveaway with the prize being from “Life’s A Picnic”.
The products they offer are really beautiful and I’ve not seen it done quite as well as how these guys are doing it… Check out these pictures!

Arent they just to die for?!! They are put together by Elly and Evie Pace, who are based in Bristol and the Cotswolds. Elly trained at the Royal College of Art and Evie is also a photographer. They fit out the baskets themselves, including all the sewing and leatherwork, as well sourcing textiles and hamper contents from all over the country.

Each two-person hamper is ready for everything from afternoon tea (complete with saucers) to the best outdoor events (complete with champagne flutes and champagne glass holders), all securely fitted in a sturdy basket with plenty of room left over for food and a bottle of wine.

Life’s a Picnic hampers contain 2 x vintage plates, saucers, cups, knives, forks and teaspoons. Napkins and tablecloths are vintage or made from vintage fabrics.
Also included are a lined and padded inner wicker basket for cups and glasses; 2 x toughened glass tumblers, polycarbonate champagne flutes, champagne glass holders; corkscrew/bottle-opener, bottle stopper and a jute Life’s a Picnic sectioned bottle bag.

A unique two-person ready-made hamper costs from £220.00; bespoke from £260.

Sadly I’m not able to give away one of the superdooper hampers but what I am offering is a PicnEco set also sold by Life’s a Picnic. These come from sustainable plant sources and are ethically produced and comes in a delightful jute bag.
The plates, cups, glasses and cutlery can all be re-used several times, if gently washed and dried after use.  Everything can be composted, either at home or in with your council’s collections if you have them. If you are unable to compost, most items can be recycled (see below for details) or, at worst, will biodegrade in landfill much quicker than the rest of the rubbish. If recycling then please make sure you rinse things first.
