As you know I’m always on the look out for ways of displaying my photographs and memories.
I’ve recently had a huge clear-out of frames that weren’t really doing anything for me and I wanted to replace some of these rather dull picture frames with more unusual, and even more ornate versions.
I spotted these Eichholtz photo frames on Houseology and loved how different they looked to anything I’ve seen recently in the shops. They are brass coloured and in the shape of a stirrup, which I didn’t pick up on until I read the description. But I love how quirky they are and the fact they come as a pair.
The frames were extremely well wrapped on delivery, and are surprisingly weighty. They feel like real quality pieces and I’m really pleased I chose them. I chose to re-frame a couple of the photographs that I’d taken out of my old and boring frames and I just needed to trim them to fit.
One photo is of the Mr and I on our wedding day outside the Radisson {the old Free Trade Hall} on Peter Street in Manchester- a gorgeous and historical venue. The other photo I’ve used is of the girls walking together down a path at Whitby Abbey, this one feels a bit poetic as in they are walking into the future down the path of their lives *sigh*.
I’ve popped the frames onto the mantelpiece for now where they look great, but I may have a reshuffle of things at some point. I think these would look great anywhere in the house to be fair though.
Thank you!
I really love those frames, they look great! Nothing like I’ve ever seen before. Beautiful! 🙂

Very cute frames, have entered x
Aren’t they unusual? Gorgeous! And they look like they would be harder to knock over than some flimsier frames (I have 3 sons, I consider this kind of thing everyday!) Great gift card giveaway too! x
Those frames are SO lovely! They look v expensive too!

Am obsessed with brass right now. Who’d have thunk it!
ohh the pic of your girls walking down the path of life. How wonderful, you need to take the same picture every year (until they no longer let you ) it would make a beautiful memory.
Great idea!! I’m so doing that!
Emile Henry Les Classiques Ruffled Pie Dish from Houseology is so pretty! I love everything they carry.
I’m always on the hunt for nice frames. These look great x
I always struggle to find frames I like. I must be overly picky. These are great though, especially for equestrian type people!
Thank you for the giveaway! – I really love those frames 🙂
