Hotter Shoe Review Valetta

Hello again readers!

I recently received some stunning shoes from Hotter for review here on Old Fashioned Susie. Sadly with my recent house move they got packed away for weeks along with everything else.

I’ve now managed to unpack them and have a proper look at them, the thing is- I’m 38 weeks pregnant now and my ankles and feet have finally said enough is enough and like to swell up at any opportunity. Basically meaning I cant even try on these beautiful shoes *sad face*

hotter.valettaSo I thought I’d at least show you how pretty these babies are, and do a proper review of them sometime late November or early December when my ankles and feet are back to their usual size!

These are the Valetta shoe in Gold, they have a heel height of just under two inches- which is great for me as I’m not great in heels generally but I also don’t need a huge heel as I’m a lanky girl anyway and tower over most folk at the best of times.

The one I have are exactly like these photographs- the Hotter website is slightly confusing as it shows these when you click on gold but the “other view” shots show a different shoe- more of a cream patent. Anyway these are what you get if you order the gold.

I think these have a real vintage shoe feel to them, and apart from looking like something one of the dancers would wear on Strictly I think they have a real 1920’s look to them.

Just for comparisons sake here are a pair of authentic 1920’s shoes from an American museum collection…

So I shall return with a proper review of the Hotter Shoes in a few weeks!

Meanwhile go and have a look at these and some other vintage style ones here- Hotter Heels

Disclosure- I was sent these shoes for review- all thoughts and words about them are my own
