HomeSense Styling & £50 Giveaway

Hey gang! As you know HomeSense recently opened up near me at Stanley Green in Cheadle.

HomeSense is one of my favourite shops, I go into more detail about why here. There is such a wide scope of products for sale. Furniture and things for the home are the obvious items on offer, but there is also a great selection of craft products for sale here too.

A couple of my friends {fellow HomeSense lovers}  and I decided we would do a little styling challenge with one of these craft items. We each chose some mini pegs, which are versatile, affordable and very cute! These are actually an American product called “Whittles – Screen printed Decorative Pegs”.

Each pack contains twelve pegs and was around £3. Each peg pack works on a colour scheme and has words and other pattern embellishments printed on. Well all used them in our own way and photographed the results to share with you.

You can easily change y0ur goals or targets according to what you need that day. I’d have this in the kitchen so I can set myself up for a cheerful, happy and productive day.

Well eldest and I created this fashion illustration bunting using something very similar made by Girls World. Late seventies and early eighties fashions ahoy! This was really easy to create and gave really quick results, we created is as part of her birthday decorations and its still up two weeks later. Some pretty string, with the pegs and some drawing pins to pin it up onto the wall.

My chum @vintagepleasure created this makeover for her 13 year old’s desk. Wanting to give her lots of positive quotes and phrases to boost her self esteem. The wall is covered (pasted) with pages from the book Don’t Eat Yellow Snow which is a book full of song titles and ear worms for sure!

The twine is also handmade and is a much thicker, chunkier version of my shop bought one. Find the tutorial here. The positive affirmation cards were also from HomeSense.

So today you can win £50 to spend on whatever you want at HomeSense!

This is the third giveaway in as many days {part of my huge thanks for getting me through to the Amara Interior Blog Awards} so if you’ve not entered the other ones do look back through and give them a go.

This one is UK entrants only- Good Luck!
