HomeSense arrives {and its right near me!!}

I’m thrilled to tell you that I’ve been asked by HomeSense to be an ambassador for their new store right around the corner from me in Stanley Green, Cheadle.

Regular readers will know that I’m a huge fan of HomeSense.

Currently there is a TK Maxx at Stanley Green, which is the sister shop of HomeSense. I’m in there around once a week seeing what goodies I can find. The TK Maxx has a Home department upstairs and we’ve bought a fair amount of stuff from it for our house. The most recent being an almost lifesize set of wrought iron antlers!!

Kind of random but they work really well in our lounge.

That’s the thing I love about HomeSense- that it is kind of random. You go in not knowing what you will find. I love this bedroom image from the HomeSense Autumn lookbook- how cosy does it look?!how cosy do this bedroom look fur blankets! lantern, plaid

I guess its similar to shopping at vintage fairs or reclamation yards- both of which you know I love. It’s the thrill of unearthing a treasure that’s as if its just waiting there for you.

I love the exploring nature of shopping at HomeSense, the thrill of the chase followed by the smug feeling that you’ve got a bargain too as most stock is 60% less than its original price.

Despite it being a bit random, it is seasonal- so you’ll find things for upcoming events like Halloween or Christmas, and things that you never knew you needed (this is me every time). September is the best time for preserving and pickling and making sloe gin so you’ll find jars like the ones below in store.jars for pickling autumn september activities

The new HomeSense is opening next door but one to the TK Maxx store, at Stanley Green, Cheadle on Thursday 17th September and frankly, I cant wait.

In fact if you see me in there on your visit do say hello!

The full address is Stanley Green Retail Park, Earl Rd, Cheadle Hulme SK8 6PT

All images here are from the Autumn HomeSense Lookbook

Stay tuned for a HomeSense Gift Card giveaway on the blog very soon!

See you at Stanley Green.

    Ooh nice! I love a good home-ware rummage.

    And quite frankly, who doesn’t need life-sized wrought iron antlers in their life? You did well at finding some 😉

    So excited for the new store! Thanks for passing on my details btw, can’t make the opening but definitely going to pop in for some new home bits 🙂
    I managed to find a Rob Ryan mug (which I already have) for £3.99 the other day when I went to the MCR one, I was absolutely chuffed to find a matching one for so cheap!
