Home Office Style with Pantone Colour of 2016

Today I’m excited to share with you something I’ve been planning for a while, a home office space just for me!

I’ve wanted to create a home office for some time, sitting on the sofa with the laptop isn’t always very productive.

Be it blogging or my overdue sewing comeback I need some kind of area to be just for me. This can be quite an achievement when you’ve got kids let me tell you!

Styling an office with pantone serenity and rose quartzI teamed up with Wayfair for this project and you can now read the full post over on their site click here.

As you’d expect from me there’s a real mix of old and new at my desk… The blue formica table we actually found in the shed when we moved into this house a couple of years ago. Its from the 50s and I was actually looking for one on eBay at the time. So to find it in the shed felt very much like fate was at work.

I really enjoyed styling my home office using the Pantone Colour of 2016, using these colours together really makes them pop. Read my previous post about the Pantone 2016 colour combination here.

The table and the placement of it is great for creating that perfect flatlay for Instagram, it catches the light perfectly being so close to these massive sliding doors we have.

I’ve carved out this home office at the back of our lounge, this part of the house was extended before we moved in and is almost like a little separate room.

I got the lightbox for Christmas, I’ve seen these around a lot but they are so adaptable and being battery powered will work anywhere.

Do you have a home office space?

    Oops pressed to early.
Meant to say your chair is fabulous and what a great space you’ve created.
I’m working on a big clear up in my studio. Send in the army if I’ve not surfaced by February.
