Giveaway- Botanical Artwork for your home

Images of plants and other flora and fauna are a huge trend in 2015. Botanical prints can be picked up from most home and interior shops… They give a real feeling of freshness and new start- very Spring like.

I’m not sure if Spring is in the air yet but I’ve certainly started noticing it’s not getting dark quite as quickly in the early evening. More time for doing things that are best done in natural daylight… Especially painting walls and most kinds of home decorating.

Today I’ve got a giveaway for you and your home, the prize is a beautiful botanical piece of art. If you win you will have the choice of either yellow or green pressed ginkgo leaves. Normally retailing £36 (dimensions 17cm by 22cm) these decorative pieces of wall art would look great on freshly painted walls, or as part of a shelf display, in any room in your home.

The creative behind these beauties is Hannah Brown of Hannah Brown Interiors. She makes each piece by hand and the frames she using are all bespoke too. She uses a variety of materials from sharks teeth to vintage marbles and even antique microscope slides, turning things that might be momentarily admired into something that you can keep forever.

Hannah has been featured in The Guardian several times and also on one of my personal favourite websites Apartment Therapy.

What I really like about Hannah’s work is that it will work in a traditional home or a more contemporary home, and anything in between.

So to win, one of the Ginkgo Leaf pieces for your home pictured below please enter as many different ways as you like via the widget at the bottom of the post. It goes without saying the more ways you enter the better your chances of winning are.

Whenever I see ginkgo, I remember making a leaf collection in 7th grade science. There was a ginkgo tree right where my bus waited outside the school. That poor tree was picked over every fall. Thank you for the memories.
