It good to mix up your styles I think, whether it be the clothes you put on, the meals you cook or the interiors of your home.
Stretching your comfort zone makes you open to things you might not have considered before and you can find inspiration in a whole manner of places. I get a lot of interiors inspiration from Instagram.
Surprised? Well I love seeing peoples home as they live in them, how they’ve come up with solutions for problem areas and great ways of displaying collections. My favourite homes are always those who embrace the “non theme”. The ones that aren’t afraid to mix it up a bit and show some personality.
Casa Bella do solid wood furniture- I’ve created a little collage here using one of their Mango wood side tables.
I’ve chosen pieces to go with it that are mixture of things I’d normally go for and things I wouldn’t. I’ve mixed the extremely modern, the Ikea charging lamp, with something with a definite vintage vibe, the macrame plant holders and frame. I’d tuck the basket on the shelf under the table to store bits and bobs.
Do you think it works?
