Something like this doesn’t come along very often. A competition combining creativity with social media and, not forgetting of course, an amazing prize, £3000 worth of the G Plan Vintage collection!
G Plan have collaborated with vintage expert and British designer Wayne Hemingway and daughter Tilly Hemingway in designing the range and G Plan will be giving the lucky winner £3000 worth of furniture from the vintage range to promote it’s launch. The Hemingway’s will also be judging the entries of this fantastic pin board competition.
What you need to do to be in with a chance of winning is get on the virtual pin board Pinterest! If you aren’t already on there, then send an email to email@example.com and you’ll receive an invite. Then you can get to work and create a pin board called “My G Plan Vintage sofa style” , categorizing it under “Home Decor”.
Then get pinning! Using the Repin technique go to The new G Plan Vintage Range on Pinterest and repin your favorite to your board, then let the interior designer in you run wild! On your board you need to pin things that you think would work well with your chosen G Plan piece.
Seriously this is the bit that the Hemingway’s will be looking at, how creative can you be? Will you go for a completely authentic vintage look or perhaps add more modern pieces- its totally up to you! Your board should have a maximum of 10 pins though so don’t get too carried away.
The next parts are key- if you don’t do these your entry wont be counted. So, in the comments section of your board, once you are completely happy with it, include a comment which contains the following @gplan and #IloveGPlanVintage , also state briefly what’ s inspired you to create the look you’ve gone for.
Then- you must submit your entry here on the competition page of the G Plan Vintage site including the link to your pin board in the submission.
If you aren’t the lucky winner one runner up will win a years subscription to Homes & Antiques Magazine.
The Promotion will begin at 12.01am (GMT) on 25 July 2012, and all entries must be received by 11.59pm (GMT) on 31 August 2012.
