I thought it was about time a did a little Etsy collection again. You should know that I’m an Etsy affiliate and if you click through and purchased anything that I have linked to here on Old Fashioned Susie, I’d get a small percentage of the price at no extra cost to you.
So if you fancy a closer look at any of these watches just click on the images to be taken to the Etsy page.
I love this pretty Russian watch, where the face is hidden like in a locket, I’ve never seen anything quite like this in all my 33 years. The colours of the painting detail are right up my street, and I’ve always loved gold over silver toned metals. I do really fancy this for myself, safe to say its on my favourites list.
This watch is an elegant Bulova number from the 1920’s. I particularly like the classic rectangular face on this one and I do prefer actual numbers on a watch over Roman numerals- anyone else? Silver tones are much more of the 1920’s period- I do actually have some stunning Accessorize earrings that would go really well with this watch.
This Joker Batman pocket watch from the 1960’s would make an ideal present for my comic book loving husband. The seller is UK based too and has many other vintage 1960’s pocket watches for sale- worth a look if you need an unusual gift for someone special.
I always like the idea of the nurses watch which is either pinned to the uniform or sometimes worn on a chain around the neck. Watches occasionally irritate me on my wrist so wearing one as a piece of jewellery like a necklace or brooch would work for me- The Watch Hut has some watches on a necklace if you fancy something more modern.
This one from Etsy is stunning! Another Bulova watch- I may have to research this brand!
What sort of watch do you wear?
