Coat Destiny

A while ago I reviewed Altrincham Vintage Market, at the time money was extremely tight so I had a tiny budget.
Despite this I found and tried on a coat from one of the stalls and despite it fitting really well, had to walk away and be strict with myself. This was in May.

On Sunday Mr Old Fashioned, the Munchkin and I went to Vintage Village Pop Up event at Salford Museum & Art Gallery.

This time my budget was £40 and I quite fancied finding a coat- I had pretty strict specifications though; below knee length, belted or fitted at the waist (any other shape make me look enormous) and warm but not really itchy wool. I don’t ask for much do I?

Anyway- I’m sure you’ve guessed by now, the coat was there waiting for me!! The seller had only done Altrincham Vintage Market once – and I’d only been once. And, she’d stored all her coats over the summer, with Sundays fair being the one she got them all out again! Fate or what!!

Here’s the pictures- its Calvin Klein so not a vintage piece, but who cares- I love it!

Have you had any fatalistic experiences when it comes to clothes?
