Here’s another of my Christmas Gift guides. This one is for those amongst us who like a drink.
And by drink I mean an alcoholic beverage. Booze is quite a traditional gift at Christmas time, Port and Sherry for example, seem to be a given at Christmas lunches and parties.
As you may know I’m a Gin in Summer and Dark Rum in Winter kind of drinker (hint, hint) but if you’d rather buy something tongue in cheek rather than the easy option of a bottle of booze, then you wouldn’t go far wrong with a art print referencing the receivers favourite tipple.
This one is from Not on the High Street.
If your beloved is into the black stuff ie Guinness, and you have a larger amount to spend on them then you could whisk them off to the Guinness storehouse for the ultimate Connoisseur Experience. Find out all about the heritage and the stories behind the world famous drink in the vaults of the storehouse.
I love a personalised gift at Christmas- these Nutella are £3.99 from Selfridges- online only. It would be great to get several of these with different words on, perhaps to form a well known saying. When they are empty they could be used for display and storage in your kitchen.
Next up- I love this little bottle- it is just like something out of Alice in Wonderland- Drink Me! It is called The Bubble and is 125ml of Austrian sparkling wine. You could use it a place settings at Christmas Dinner or pop it in someone’s stocking.
Its £8.99 from Grays & Feather.
Does you boozy chum have a particular tipple? Well you could get them a stunning glass decanter from a charity shop or eBay and add a stunning personalised label such as this one from Not on the High Street for £12.
