We always love attending vintage fairs and when we heard about this one from Candy Peel being held at Sale Masonic Hall yesterday, we just had to attend, especially as its local to our Editor.
The Masonic Hall in Sale is tucked away behind the town hall on Tatton Road and parking is on streets nearby or there are car parks in Sale centre a ten minute walk away.
It was lovely to see a good mix of vintage traders and crafters with the majority of stalls being vintage stock. Independent vintage lifestyle magazine Pretty Nostalgic magazine were also there drumming up more interest in their beautiful magazine. We saw a few familiar faces, that we know from other fairs in the Manchester region and have a great reputation for excellent vintage at reasonable prices such as the lovely Garbo, Show us Your Threads, and Lost But Never Forgotten.
We found the fair to be well organised and really friendly, with excellent stock and good prices. There is a bar that sells refreshments as well as a cake stall if you have a sweet tooth.
The organisers Candy Peel plan to hold fairs at the Sale Masonic Hall every other month interspersed with a vintage Fair in nearby Hale, we’ll keep you posted with futher dates and the Hale venue as we get them but this is definitely one to watch.
