Best of… Contributor Helen

Helen more or less runs Mancunian Matters- but she’d never admit to it.

Modest is her middle name but I predict big things for this hard-working lady.  She is crafter extraordinaire, a true vintage huntress and what I would probably call a “proper” journalist- as in she writes about things that are newsworthy not just, “here’s my latest wish list” type things.

She has enthusiasm for everything she turns her hand to and is rarely without a smile on her face, which makes her a fab person to know and be around.

She’s written some corkers for us here at Vintage Manchester, but my favourites are;

  • Vintage Christmas Party Outfit: Ladies Edition- Helen goes head to head with our resident chap Norton of Morton.
  • INTERVIEW: J’adore Vintage Clothing boss on dumpster diving, fashion styling & retaining her vintage retailer crown- A visit to a vintage success story in Prestwich.
  • Further Afield- Lytham St Annes, the stunning coastal second hand shopping paradise- you cant go far wrong with two of my favourite things in one place- Vintage and the Seaside!

Find Helen over at her own blog Mancunian Vintage and at Mancunian Matters.
