Baubles & Brrrrrr, it’s Vintage Village!

Yesterday, despite it being another jam packed weekend, I managed to get out to the Vintage Village in Stockport. Its the last one before Christmas and they’d also opened another building opposite the market called Room at the Top.

Despite the grey and wet weather it was a good turn out and
could have easily spent small fortune! I always find the traders are so friendly at Vintage Village and I could stop and chat for ages- its well worth a look if you haven’t been before

Here are my buys;

From All Our Yesterdays some vintage magazines from late 1940’s- early 1950’s, I especially love the seasonally accurate Christmas issue, I’m sure I’ll find lots of tips in there for our Christmas!

And from Vintage Pleasure, who’d been tweeting all week about what they were bringing to the fair, I got some cute glass baubles. Safe to say these are on our mantelpiece away from prying children’s fingers!
The Room at the Top- which is across from the Victorian market hall, is a very cosy space full of quality vintage clothing, furniture and books and is open Tuesday, Thursday Friday and Saturday and of course, the second Sunday of month!
Did you buy any goodies this weekend? Please do tell!

    I didn’t buy anything, but I finally got to wear one of my recent vintage purchases, so I was happy. 🙂 sounds like you had a lovely time though.
