This Sunday, 4th December is an extra Altrincham’s Vintage Market. The market is spread over two sites – the main covered market on Greenwood Street market, and the lower market on the corner of Shaw Road (opposite the side entrance of Marks & Spencer’s).
This time there is 70 stalls selling everything from vintage clothing and homewares to locally-produced crafts and foodstuffs. There will also be pedal-powered sleigh rides for the kids and afterwards they can visit Santa in his log cabin.
There’s a pop-up tearoom selling homemade cakes, biscuits, savoury snacks and, now the weather’s getting chillier, mulled wine, and live music from DJs and buskers.
If you are local, or even if you are’nt, get down there with Christmas just around the corner it’s a great place to pick up original and unusual gifts. They’ve also recently been mentioned in The Sunday Times and Cheshire Life magazine.
Remember people, this is the third Sunday of every month usually, so this month you’ve got two!
